Retail/Wholesale Salesperson

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for selling the Rue 41 baked product and for properly handling cash transactions at the register.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning the approved baking procedures for all bakery products in order to bake and sell acceptable quality products.
Displaying Rue 41 baked products so they are attractive and appealing within full customer view.
Keeping the retail bakery display cases stocked with fresh baked products throughout entire shift.
Making sure ALL products are labeled with correct label cards within full customer view.
Keeping beverage station stocked full; ie. fresh coffee, ice, cups, lids, iced tea, etc. throughout entire shift.
Keeping paper wax bags for to go orders stocked full throughout entire shift.
Operating the cash register and submitting a balanced cash summery for the shift.
Organizing the cash drawer at the end of each shift and leaving the correct `bank' and change assortment in the drawer.
Wearing the correct uniform whenever on duty.
Familiarity with the menu.
Following ALL procedures for charge card transactions.
Maintaining cleanliness of the retail sales area and display cases.
Handling carry out requests.
Seeking a manager when a justified poor or negative comment is received.
Projecting a consistently positive image to ALL customers and ALWAYS smiling.
Performing any other task as requested by management.
